Welcome to the CamTESOL website.
IDP Education (Cambodia) established the CamTESOL conference series in 2005. It is the premier professional development conference in the region. It has also become a significant international conference with over 600 international participants from around 30 countries now attending annually. Total registration is approximately 1,700. The CamTESOL Conference Series has several components and related activities. The conference includes two pre-conference fora, one on either Regional ELT Leadership or Quality Assurance and the other on ELT research. Since 2014, the focus on research has been manifested in a full-day CamTESOL Regional Research Symposium.
Conference papers may be submitted for consideration in the independent online journal Language Education in Asia. This is a peer-reviewed journal with an Editorial Board of approximately 75 international editors in 20 countries.
The 11th Annual CamTESOL Conference on ELT will take place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 21-22 February 2015. The theme of the 11th CamTESOL is English: Building Skills for Regional Cooperation and Mobility.
