Welcome to the CamTESOL website.
IDP Education (Cambodia) established the CamTESOL conference series in 2005. It is the premier professional development forum for teachers of English in Cambodia. It has also become a significant international conference with over 500 international participants from around 30 countries now attending annually. Total registration is approximately 1,500.
The conference is designed to be practical and of direct benefit to practising teachers of English. It has a significant research component, with a pre-conference research forum and over 100 research-based papers being presented annually. Conference papers may be submitted for consideration in the independent online journal Language Education in Asia. This is a peer-reviewed journal with an Editorial Board of approximately 75 international editors in 20 countries.
The 10th Annual CamTESOL Conference on ELT will take place in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 22-23 February 2014. The theme of the 10th CamTESOL is English for Regional and International Integration.
