Conference Support Group:

In addition to the individuals on various committees with specific functions listed above, there are many other people who volunteer to organise and support the CamTESOL conference.  In particular, there are several individuals who are making a substantial contribution to the development and growth of this conference in specific ways that are appropriate to acknowledge, as below

Anne Newman
Anne is facilitating communication between the members of an informal international support group that integrates with local committee members and shares experience each year in conference organisation and various ELT quality assurance issues.

Marion Bagot
Marion is editing abstracts and contributing to the formatting of the conference handbook.

Cambodia
Chea Kagnarith
Kagnarith is facilitating local support for the CamTESOL publication including providing logistical assistance to the Editor-in-Chief.  He also acts as liaison person for the informal international support group.

Chea Theara
Theara is facilitating local support for the CamTESOL publication including support of Cambodian-based research that will feed into conference presentations.

Leang Sokhom
Sokhom is publicising the conference both within Cambodia and internationally.  She is seeking potential partners to help develop the conference.

Paul Cooke
Paul is acting as a focal point for Cambodian-based TESOL research.  He is facilitating the development of a corpus of research and Cambodian articles that will give a Cambodian  flavour to the CamTESOL publication.

Ted O’Neill
Ted is co-ordinating the circulation of papers and taking a leading role in establishing the CamTESOL publication.

Richmond Stroupe
Richmond is facilitating dialogue between managers of English Language centres overseas and within Cambodia to help start an effective management stream within the conference.  He is assisting Cambodian-based research, including preparation of presentations and the CamTESOL publication.

Vietnam
Lynda Beagle
Lynda is assisting regionalisation of the conference through working with teachers in Central Vietnam in the preparation of presentations linked into tiered peer professional development in Vietnam.
